Transportation Security Administration – Screener Testing |
To ensure competent and thorough baggage and passenger screening, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has undertaken the training and testing of all 60,000 screeners at US airports. In support of this effort, L D Ness Inc. has developed and is developing software to provide:
- an interactive competency test, which is administered on computers at over 200 airports to every screener.
- online data gathering of test results from each airport
- online analysis and scoring of results for DHS staff
- Palm and laptop-based software to allow evaluators to rate on-the-job performance of each screener
- software for local analysis and tracking of results
- an online facility to gather and analyze OJT results
L D Ness Inc. works under contract to PTG International and Lockheed Martin on this project.
